Accepting New Clients

Chloe Lawler, AMFT

Hi, I'm Chloe (she/her). If you find it difficult to identify, understand, or fully experience your emotions—perhaps relying on intellectualizing rather than connecting with your body and inner emotional world—you might be my ideal client. I provide a warm, safe, and accepting space where you can explore your inner self with honesty and curiosity, deepen self-understanding, and foster meaningful change. In couples work, I support each partner in exploring their emotional histories while strengthening communication, connection, and mutual understanding. My approach is relational, collaborative, respectful, and grounded in experiential practices that help you safely explore emotions that may have felt overwhelming or inaccessible in the past.

I'm passionate about helping clients build confidence, recognize their inherent worth, and cultivate self-compassion and a kinder inner voice. I work with individuals and couples (ages 10+) navigating anxiety, depression, grief, betrayal trauma, divorce adjustment, religious trauma and deconstruction, perinatal and parenthood concerns, identity issues and transitions, and non-monogamy or polyamory. My therapeutic approach integrates EFT, AEDP, somatic work, parts work, Gottman methods, and person-centered practices. My practice is LGBTQIA2S+ affirming, sex-positive, and neurodiversity affirming.

I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University and am a licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I'm a Level 1 AEDP therapist and have completed Level 1 Gottman training. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a Montessori teacher credentialed through the American Montessori Society and in a college campus counseling center. Outside of therapy, I love spending time with my partner, friends, and family, knitting and crocheting, reading, enjoying nature, and baking loaves of sourdough bread. I'm currently accepting new clients—feel free to reach out if you'd like to connect.
