Kylie is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who lives and practices in Knoxville, Tennessee. She received both her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and her Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Kylie has a background in community mental health, working with clients of various ages, diagnoses, and backgrounds. She currently offers individual sessions for adolescents and adults.
Kylie’s practice is rooted in the conviction that every living being is worthy of compassion. She believes that every person has a unique story to tell, and she would be honored to listen to yours. Her most commonly used interventions are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). However, she tailors her interventions to the needs and preferences of each individual client.
Kylie specializes in the treatment of depressive & anxiety disorders, and enjoys working with helping professionals who are facing compassion fatigue or burnout. Kylie believes deeply in the human-animal bond, and is honored to hold space for anyone who is struggling with the loss of a beloved pet or facing difficult decisions regarding their pet’s medical needs.
Outside of work, Kylie enjoys spending time with her husband and their two rescued pit bulls.
