Sarah Bruck is a licensed clinical social worker and registered yoga teacher practicing in Knoxville, TN. Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado and her Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee with a graduate certificate in the Treatment of Trauma. She has worked as a mental health therapist with various populations including children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Sarah believes therapy provides the opportunity to promote self-growth and develop the valuable skillset that empowers people to live life to the fullest. She is passionate about supporting individuals who are seeking to heal from past hardships, build helpful coping strategies, and discover emotional wellbeing in a safe and accepting environment. She enjoys helping people learn to overcome depression, anxiety, and life stressors that contribute to problems with daily functioning.

Her primary approaches to therapy are rooted in evidence-based, person-centered interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also uses trauma-informed approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Mindfulness Based techniques to support healing from trauma, with a focus on integrating body and mind. She works with the individual or family as part of their team to utilize the best approach that fits their needs with an emphasis on building trust, acceptance, purpose, and meaning.
